Environment
At Wagg we do everything we can to conserve energy and support the green agenda. So we use state of the art machinery that is more efficient and helps reduce absolute energy requirements.
We also try to source our core wheat and meat meal products locally and are always looking for new ways to reduce and recycle waste from our UK manufacturing process.
On top of this we support our key customers and minimise our carbon footprint by trying to reduce transport miles and are currently looking at our packaging with a view to reducing waste and investigating new, alternative options that are more environmentally friendly.
Check your local recycling facilities because all of our 17kg and 20kg bags are now recyclable.
Accreditation
Wagg Foods are pleased to have achieved BRC (British Retail Consortium) accreditation. This is an internationally recognised accreditation against which suppliers of retail branded products can be assessed. It ensures suppliers produce a safe and legal product concurrent with human food quality standards.
Quality
Wagg Foods aim to produce pet food products that are safe, of sound nutritional value and consistent in quality. We also implement a Quality Assurance System that reflects the dedication and competence of the Company to existing customers, potential customers, and independent auditing authorities.
Environment
Wagg Foods is in the process of implementing an Environmental Management System that will monitor environmental performance, management of energy and waste, employee training and compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations to which the company subscribes.
All our product offerings of 10kg - 20kg are packaged in large plastic bags made from 100% LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene), which is recyclable. Plus, offering our product in larger bags reduces packaging waste relative to equivalent amount of smaller bags.

At Wagg we don’t blind our customers with science, but we care about your pet and work hard to ensure we achieve an optimum level of nutrition in all our diets.
